Fuel Oil Desk

Waler has established itself as a key player in the fuel oil market since its inception, with the product being central to its operations. By being Platts-registered for both physical and paper markets, Waler navigates the complexities of global trading with unmatched expertise. Our strategic approach to fuel oil not only drives results but opens doors to vast market opportunities, solidifying its influence across the global landscape.

Biodiesel

Waler entered the biodiesel market in February 2019, aiming to become a leader in sustainable energy trading. By April of the same year, the company earned ISSC certification for its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through biodiesel. Waler quickly made significant strides, securing 20% of the PME traded from Asia by the close of 2019. In early 2020, Waler was granted permission to sell FAME (biodiesel blends) through the Argus Window, establishing a strong foothold in the European market. With its sustainable practices reconfirmed in 2020 through another successful ISSC audit, Waler’s biodiesel desk not only contributes to global energy needs but also aligns with the growing demand for environmentally responsible solutions.

LPG Desk

Waler’s strategic entry into the LPG market began in August 2019, with physical trading operations commencing in January 2020. Trading over a million tonnes of fully-refrigerated propane since. Waler has quickly positioned itself as a trusted partner in Asia. The LPG desk presents a compelling growth narrative, offering exposure to one of the fastest-growing energy sectors in the region.
